Every child needs a favorite teddy bear. Especially kids in foster care who might need a cuddly friend to hold for comfort.
Volunteers at Foresters Financial arranged a day to make B-day Teddy Bears with our kids and families, which were then delivered to children in our foster care program.
Foresters Financial purchased the Bday Bears and brought them to our campus. Kids and volunteers stuffed and fluffed them, and added a heart with a wish for the child receiving the bear. Our kids also made bear birth certificates with names and fun facts to fit each bear’s personality.
The crew made more than 40 bears, a fun day for a great cause. Now our foster kids have an extra-special friend to cuddle and love on their special day.
