During these tough times, The Children’s Center is committed to keeping our staff safe and healthy. As a result, all of our staff are working from home, some for the first time! Thanks to your support, we’ve implemented many new programs to make sure our team prioritizes their own mental health.
Here is a weekly rundown:
- Meditation Mondays — We provide quick, guided meditations virtually, to get our week started on the right foot.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays Emotional Support — Staff can drop in to talk with peers about how they are feeling and coping.
- Wednesday Wellness Walks — We talk and walk around our respective neighborhoods or homes to tend to our physical well-being together, alone.
- Friday Morning Coffee Break — We reconnect and have the fun, casual conversations that we are missing while not being in the office.
