On September 8, The Children’s Center welcomed more than 50 volunteers from GE to our campus to participate in GE’s Global Community Day. The theme was “Fall Clean-Up” and our volunteers did a fantastic job making us shine. We couldn’t be more grateful to our partners at GE.
Volunteers did everything from sanitizing toys and furniture to helping with data entry and preparing Holiday Shop Application. Outside, they weeded playgrounds, trimmed hedges and edged sidewalks. They removed mulch and garden boxes, and helped install a new mesh fence. Clean-up crews were in full swing, power-washing playgrounds, windows and tables. They stained benches and created a new retaining wall.
Thanks to the amazing volunteers from GE who came out on Global Community Day, our campus is looking better than ever!
