Story time is exciting, especially when you read with Jared Goff, the Detroit Lions’ new starting quarterback. Jared will be reading to families via Zoom from The Children’s Center each month and will participate in some fun activities. Read along at home with your free books and have fun creating with your child(ren).

- WHEN: 5:00 – 6:00 p.m., the fourth Tuesday of each month, Oct. – Dec.

- WHO: Parents/guardians served by The Children’s Center can pick up their free books that will be read each month from Building 79.
Meet Our Reader, Jared Goff
Jared was born and raised in California, and is now a Michigan resident after joining the Detroit Lions in 2021 as the starting quarterback. Since the beginning of Covid, Jared has turned his off-the-field focus to giving back to the community and uplifting city youth in many ways. After joining the Lions, he partnered with the Detroit Lions Foundation which focuses on initiatives that support Detroit youth, and he matches every dollar donated from his merchandise brand, JG16, to the foundation.
